• Business Optimization of Nanjing West Road Core Area

  For this project in Jing'an District, Shanghai, I specifically chose to stay at the Shanghai Park Hotel located in the core area of Nanjing West Road. As a business person who travels to and from the Yangtze River Delta all year round, hotels that can balance "location value, cultural attributes, and business convenience" are not commonly seen in the core business district of Shanghai.
  The commuting efficiency of the hotel is completely beyond expectations. It is only a 50 meter walk from the People's Square subway station, and there is a transfer between Line 1, Line 2, and Line 8. It takes only 20 minutes to reach Lujiazui and Hongqiao railway stations directly. Taking Line 2 to Pudong Airport can also be controlled within 1 hour and 10 minutes, so there is no need to worry about traffic jams and missed flights on the city roads. It takes only 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the Nanjing West Road CBD, 15 minutes to reach the commercial buildings along the Bund, and 10 minutes to ride a shared bicycle to meet customers in the Jing'an Temple business district. There is no need to detour and get stuck in traffic during morning and evening rush hours, saving a lot of commuting time into the work rhythm.
  The business floor room I stayed in has a well-organized and non redundant space, with a spacious solid wood office desk and multiple charging interfaces. The high-speed WiFi is stable throughout the entire process and does not drop. It handles large volume project solutions and holds cross-border online meetings without any lag. The room retains the vintage wooden layout of old Shanghai, but there is no stuffiness of old buildings at all. The bedding support is just right, and after 8 hours of continuous use, returning to the room and lying down for ten minutes can quickly relieve fatigue, without the common travel problem of getting more and more tired as you sleep. The drinks in the mini bar are replenished in a timely manner, and you can easily get ice cold drinks at night without having to go downstairs to the convenience store.
  The business facilities of the hotel fully meet the needs of business travel. A number of business negotiation rooms of different specifications can be held from a small matchmaking meeting with 3-5 people to an industry sharing meeting with dozens of people. I will hold an additional customer closed door meeting temporarily, communicate with the concierge department an hour in advance, and successfully coordinate to the private meeting room near the window. The projection and tea break are all ready for commissioning in advance, without delaying the pace of business matchmaking. The Cloud Tower Restaurant on the 14th floor is an excellent choice for business banquets. The window facing viewing spot not only overlooks the panoramic view of Nanjing West Road, but also retains the classic Shanghai style dishes. Bringing customers to dine not only creates a cultural atmosphere, but also avoids being overly exaggerated.
  The types of breakfast take into account the tastes of both the north and the south. There are ready made local noodles, Cantonese style Dim sum and western style cold dishes. You can quickly pick up a meal and finish it in the morning, and you can also sit down to have a formal breakfast with plenty of time.   This time in Shanghai, I specifically chose Shanghai Park Hotelon Nanjing West Road for my stay. Pushing open the antique bronze revolving door, I felt like stepping into the old Shanghai of the 1930s. This Art Deco style building designed by master Wu Dake is still the most story telling scenic spot on Nanjing West Road today.
  When checking in, the front desk specifically reminded me that the "Shanghai City Coordinate Origin" plaque embedded in the lobby floor is the measuring reference point for the whole of Shanghai. Many elderly Shanghainese were inspired by this small dot when they were young. The high-rise guest room I am staying in offers a panoramic view of the bustling People's Park and Nanjing Road just by opening the window. The room retains a vintage wooden layout, without the musty smell and outdated feeling commonly seen in old buildings. The bedding is dry and fluffy, and the solid wood furniture and bathroom facilities are wiped clean and shiny like new. Some room types are equipped with smart toilets and air purifiers, adding just the right amount of modern comfort to the retro atmosphere.
  The most surprising thing for me is the cultural and historical museum hidden in the hotel, which is open to guests for free. Inside, there are old tableware from the hotel's opening, menus from different eras, and old photos of famous people such as Zhang Xueliang and Soong Mei ling staying. Standing in front of the display cabinet and flipping through these yellowed materials, it seems like you can touch the golden years of old Shanghai through time. The Cloud Tower Restaurant on the 14th floor is even more hidden with Easter eggs. The wooden floor under your feet has a history of 92 years. Sitting at the viewing position by the window, you can see the night view of Nanjing Road through the Republican style grid window pane. The warm yellow lights spread out along the street, creating a more atmospheric atmosphere than any internet celebrity check-in point.
  As a guest, you can also enjoy the privilege of not queuing up. You don't have to queue up in the sun at the internet famous restaurant downstairs. You can directly buy freshly baked international hotel butterfly pastries in the hotel, which have a strong milk aroma, distinct layers of pastry, and a bite that falls off. They are even fresher and crisper than what you can buy in line outside. In the afternoon, there are resident singers playing and singing in the Western restaurant in the lobby.
